The South Downs 100 miles, is a point to point, trail race through the beautiful South Downs National Park. Runners will begin at the stunning location of Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Petersfield, before travelling along the picturesque Staunton Way, Monarchs Way and South Downs Way before finishing over the iconic Beachy Head cliffs of Eastbourne. It is a truly epic route with lots of flat running in the first half before hitting the hillier sections in the second. It has a real mixture of terrains to keep it interesting and some really, stunning scenery throughout.
This race will also form part of the new South Downs Triple Crown starting in 2025 if you wish to enter.

A qualifier can come in many forms but essentially you must have run 50 miles or more in a race format where results can be viewed. Any road or trail race is fine as is a double Ironman. Please get in touch via the above email with any queries regarding what counts as a qualifier.
